Q: Do these have a remote control, or are they strictly "plug-in to power, pull plug to cut power"? Some other string lights have remote controls and several different functions (stay-on, raceway, on timer, etc.), and I'm really hoping these do too.

A: The buoy string lights are available with bleached string (white) or natural twine (brown); select your option before adding to the cart. If you are referring to the wire, it is green.

Sometimes it is very tight! You can remove the light cover by: 1) Holding the base of the light bulb with your fingers, 2) Rock the light base back and forth, 3) Simultaneously, gently pull the light unit out of the plastic cover. It may help to think of removing the light base from the cover vs. removing the cover from the light.
