The fire area is approximately 23" wide x 15.75" tall. This is printed on a plastic sheet, so you should be able to cut off the rest of the picture.

This is made of plastic, so it will be fine outside. Naturally, it will not last as long used outside as it would inside.

This is a picture printed on clear plastic and needs to attach to something to hold it up.

The fireplace is basically an illustration drawn in perspective; it is printed on thin, clear plastic. It makes a good fireplace substitute from a distance (and probably a photo), but the creases from the folded plastic are visible when you get up close. We actually have a "Santa Claus" customer that carries one with him for photos and says it works great for him.
