"Build" the Bar
- Bulletin board paper can instantly convert any bar, counter, or table to a tiki bar
- Create the tiki look with a bamboo or basketweave print for the front and sides
- For tables make front and side panels from cardboard, then cover
- You can also use fabric, wrapping peper, wallpaper, or reed fencing
- Use wood-grain shelf liner for the bartop with adhesive backing to stay in place
- Use lighter colors for contrast to help your decorations stand out
Tiki Totems
- Use tiki masks to build free standing totems for the bar
- Attach 2-3 heavy-duty Velcro strips to the back of the tiki mask
- Position masks against a weighted cylindrical vase or container
- Add side and/or rear views with more masks, if needed
Aloha
- Hang or print an "Aloha" sign for the front panel of the bar
